When Democrats criticize Dubya's compassionately non-conservative economic policies, which were a disaster for the Republican brand that Reagan built, they usually are trying to imply that Obama's have somehow been "better". I think that this graphic proves otherwise.
I never voted for him. I DEFENDED him incessantly on the war, but his unwillingness to reign in government merely made him a big-government liberal socialism enabler.
I'm w/you and the Founders on that one, sf. Either go big, or stay home. And going big isn't a very "Christian" thing to do. It's something you do ONLY when there's no other choice.
btw - I love that chart you linked. $152M in Health and Entitlement spending is a price tag YOU would believe to fairly represent the future costs to America of Obamacare (20% of the American economy & rising).
Wow. And YOU call yourself a skeptic? If so, you need to stop being so gentle... political correctness is blinding you.
The loser is the American taxpayer.
ReplyDeleteTwo-time, back-to-back losers.

As you know, I have never glorified GWB.
ReplyDeleteMy Republican friends often get angry with me when I speak ill of GWB. Oh, well.

ReplyDelete...and as far as our war fighting strategy went... put me in the Rumsfeld camp. ;)
ReplyDelete...in fact, put me in the Rumsfeld "lite" camp. My strategy would have left 1/10th the "too light" footprint that Rumsfeld's left.
ReplyDelete...of course, 3/4 of the babies born to Afghan women today would have "Christian" names, had I been given a free reign. ;)
ReplyDelete...as every soldier I sent in would have taken four wives.
ReplyDeleteAnd liberals have the temerity (or stupidity) to criticize Bush's spending.
ReplyDeleteWe agree on the war, Speedy. We can't fight 'em the way we need to anymore, so I have essentially turned anti-war. Better to stay out.

ReplyDeleteSo, when there's "no other choice", you just become UnChristian? Now THERE's conviction.
Really, though: why do you make sense at home and spout nonsense elsewhere?
lol! Who ever said that I was a Christian?

btw - The British know a LOT about "staying home". Talk about dumping Kipling's "White Man's Burden" in America's lap...
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of strength of convictions, you don't even have a blog. That gives you about as much credibility as a gypsy at a farm fair.
ReplyDeleteRemember that $152B in Health and Entitlement spending in your chart... ?
